Founded in 1925, the Rockford Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (RAIFA) is a nonprofit professional trade association of insurance agents and other sales professionals in the fields of insurance and financial services who live and work in the communities of northern Illinois. We are one of 22 local associations, having a combined total membership of over 4,200 professionals, that make up the Illinois Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (IAIFA).

RAIFA is also one of over 900 local associations federated with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). NAIFA, founded in 1890, represents over 80,000 sales professionals in life, health, and multiline insurance and other related financial services.

Our mission is to protect and promote the critical role of insurance in a sound financial plan and the essential role provided by our professional agents and advisors, improve the business environment, enhance the professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of agents and others engaged in insurance and related financial services who assist the public in achieving financial security and independence.
